This activity was created for a Math workstation. First, students put the turkeys in order according to the number they are holding. Next, students match 3 feathers to each turkey. One feather gives the number name, another feather shows the base-10, and a third feather shows the amount of hundreds, tens, and ones. Then, students fill in an accountability sheet where they choose their own number and fill in the turkey feathers.
Teacher prep: Print out the pages. They were created in black and white so that you can save printer ink. I printed my cards on colored paper. Laminate the pages. Cut them apart and place in baggies for student use.
