Students questionnaire, answer sheet, and all parts of the turkey glyph that we use.
4 different Thanksgiving/turkey writing prompts
Two different writing pieces that we use with the glyphs (depending on the students level or how much time we have left
This project is always so much fun with my kiddos. I use it the week before we go on Turkey break (kiddos words…not mine). We always read the book T’was the Night Before Thanksgiving and it is so much fun!!!! We talk about what friendship looks like, what they would do to save a turkey, and what a turkey friend is. I included all the templates for the turkey glyph that we do and it is hilarious to see how they all turn out differently. For the writing part, we add our “save a turkey” banner or “my turkey” friend to the glyph before we hang them up. The turkey friend template is usually very original and the kids love reading it to their friends.
All the graphics, fonts, and designs are credited at the end of the pack (I’m still so amazed at how awesome these graphics and ideas are!!!)
I created all the shapes for the turkey glyph using power-point shapes that can be found on the tool bar
Last but not least…..HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!!.
