PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Turkey Writing--Opinion and Narrative Writing for grades K-2.

Turkey Tales is a packet of sentence writing prompts, focused on the question, "Where's the turkey?" Each page has a different scenario.

Mixed color and black and white pages.
Pages with dashed middle line for beginning writers.

Also included are a brainstorm page and a page of phrases for building responses to the prompts. Prompts also include--If you were a turkey, where would you hide?

Kids respond with critical thinking, and descriptive writing, in addition to writing complete sentences using the conventions of grammar, usage and punctuation.

Use this set of prompts in literacy centers, for fast finishers, for homework, or leave for the substitute teacher. Students can choose to do one a day!

Geared especially for kindergartners and first graders who are writing sentences independently, and for second graders who need extra support and scaffolding.

Common Core aligned for narrative and opinion writing for K-2.
This is not necessarily for Thanksgiving. It can be for any lesson.
