Turkey Themed Ten Frames Numbers 1 - 20

It’s fall and almost “Thanksgiving” so I thought these ”Turkey Themed Ten Frames” cards would be fun for students to learn how to count objects, learn to understand numbers, and how to compare quantities. I use “turkey" or pumpkin erasers as counters. These were found at the dollar section at target.

I use these cards with my Pre-K Class. My students are first introduced counting objects up to 5 and learn to identify which group has more/less. Later on they are introduced to more numbers as the year progresses. 

I pair up students and give them two different numbers. Once they count the correct amount and place the counters on cards, students name which has more or less(which ever you are asking for them to identify). Then, I given each pair of students a ring(from ring toss game) to place over the number which represents more or less.
