Pg. 3-6 Help Hide the Turkeys! - cut out the hay pockets and glue them on to the barn page, cut out the turkeys cards, match of the antonym turkeys and put them into the antonym pocket, then match of the synonym turkeys and put them into the synonym pocket
Pg. 7 Put the Adjectives on the Table for the Thanksgiving Feast – cut out the food, read the words, only glue the adjectives on top of the table for the Thanksgiving Feast

Pg. 16-22 If you were a Turkey Where Would You Hide? - Copy the Turkeys body, color it and laminate it for future use, copy the large feather onto various colored construction paper, copy off the smaller feather onto white copy paper, each student fills out a feather with their idea, draws a picture, and glues it to the colored feather of their choice – add the feathers to the turkeys body and display on a bulletin board
Pg. 23-27 Over the River and Through the Woods… - The start of an old Thanksgiving song – What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Where are you going? Who will you spend the day with? Copy The Title on to blue construction paper, copy off the snow hill onto white construction paper, cut the writing paper in half, copy more if needed, put it between the title page and the snow page to form a layered book, the students can draw a house, trees, their car on the road etc. to decorate the front – Two choices in line size
