These Turkey Trouble activities are the perfect companion to the popular Thanksgiving read aloud "Turkey Trouble" by Wendy J. Silvano. Included in this unit are three reading comprehension lessons, complete with anchor charts for sequencing, character analysis and story elements.

A Turkey Trouble craftivity is also included. Students write what they are thankful for on the turkey's feathers and they assemble the rest of the turkey.

Another popular activity is "disguise the turkey". In this Turkey Trouble unit, there is a parent letter, a turkey disguise activity, and a letter to the farmer to serve something else for dinner.

Finally, there is a reader's theater based on "Turkey Trouble" with character signs.
