Description

These task cards are a fun way to check your students' understanding of the hilarious story called Turkey Trouble. Written by Wendi Silvano, this story tells about a turkey who tries several different disguises to avoid being eaten!

You may have students move from desk to desk at the sound of a bell, phone alarm, or other signal. They would take their recording sheet and pencil with them. Once everyone has had time to answer their question, use the signal for the students to move again. You continue doing this until the students have moved around and answered all of the questions. Or you may have the students stay seated but pass the cards at the sound of a bell, phone alarm, or other signal. Another option would be displaying the cards on the white board one at a time and have students either orally answer or record the answers on their recording sheet. You may also place the cards in a center!

There are 24 comprehension questions!

The recording sheet also has a section for the students to tell about their favorite part of this funny story!

It's a good idea to laminate the cards so that you may use them next year!

Thanks so much for checking this out!
