I just love shared reading time! It is an opportunity to share a story or a poem and read together!
I believe that the fonts should be age appropriate and that materials for little readers should have good picture support! These materials have BOTH!
These materials include:
A copy of the poem in printable form
"Turkey, Turkey" Emergent Reader (7 pages)
There are two options for the last page of the reader....one just as the poem reads and a "fill in the blank" option so children can substitute a different food for pizza!
Pocket Chart Text Cards for the poem
Pocket Chart Picture Cards
Pocket Chart Cards to change the last line of the poem and fill it is with different foods instead of "we'll eat pizza like we should!"
Includes: hamburgers, tacos, donuts, soup, sandwiches, chips and four blank cards for you to add their ideas to!
Class Book Cover and Printable...you could also display the pages for a fun bulletin board!
November Blank Calendar....children fill in the numbers and put a circle around November
This is a FAVORITE Thanksgiving shared reading poem of mine!
The kids just LOVE thinking of other things to eat instead of turkey!
EVERYTHING is in the preview....so you know exactly what is included!!!
