Students can review their rhythm skills (ta, ti-ti, quarter rest, half note and grouped sixteenth notes) with this fun interactive (no-prep) Thanksgiving-themed review game.
Hank the Turkey has been invited for the first Thanksgiving dinner. Click on a turkey to find Hank and get him to the dinner in time for Thanksgiving. If you click on the wrong turkey, you need to clap/play and say the rhythm and then go back to the map (click on the sign in the lower right corner). Hurry – he doesn't like to be late!
Included in this fun activity are two different games for both regular notation and stick notation. That way you can play more than once without your students finding the Thanksgiving feast right away. Eighteen different rhythms are included in this resource.
These files are in pdf form and are not for printing (since you project the game on a Smart Board. Please make certain you have updated to Adobe XI.
