Description
I'm sure you've all read a Thanksgiving book about a turkey not wanting to be eaten. Well here's a template for a turkey to be disguised so it won't be eaten on Thanksgiving. I have done this for many years and the children and families enjoy this. I send it home at the beginning of November, after I have read a few Turkey Thanksgiving books, then give them some time to create their turkeys. I like to hang them in the classroom when they are complete, so everyone can see them.
