Thanksgiving Place Value, Bundling, tally marks, Kindergarten, 1st Grade
Math Station Activity: Print on cardstock. Laminate work mat and cards. Cut out cards. Children will use wooden sticks and rubber bands to make a bundle of ten. Using the number cards, children will make bundles of ten to represent the tens place number on a card and use the wooden sticks to make tally marks to represent the ones place. Children will be able to master their ability to understand place value....While children think they are playing, they are learning the place value of a number.
