It’s November! If you’re a turkey that means you better hide! Read the books “Plump and Perking Turkey” by Teresa Bateman or “Turkey Trouble” by Wendi Silvano. In both books turkeys use smart ideas to hide from hungry families!
This speech therapy activity is perfect for November with the above books or on it's own.
The activity works either using QR code or without them.
To play, print either the QR code activity (pages 3-10) or the regular version (pages 11-18). If you print the QR code version use any QR code scanner on the phone or tablet. DO NOT PRINT BOTH SETS.
To play lay all the disguised turkey cards out on the table. The students should read the clues on the plain turkey cards. The rhyme on the card should give the student enough clues to guess what the turkey dressed up as to hide! On the QR code version, check the answer by scanning the QR code and checking the number on the disguised turkey.
To give your students lots of support, only place a few options in front of them. TO increase the difficulty, play with all 30 cards.
