No need to take up wall or bulletin board space with a word wall. Use your window blinds as a vocabulary and I Can statements chart with this banner.
Display the "We're Not Blind to" part above your windows and add "Vocabulary," "Science," Social Studies," or "Math." Cut and paste the banner together to fit your needs. Make it one running banner or each word as a separate piece to display it over your window area. I post vocabulary words and I Can statements written on colorful paper directly onto the part of my blinds that is always showing. This really has given me the space I need and catches everyones attention. (I use to tape them directly on the blinds, but I now have sentence strip charts from the dollar store mounted on my blinds by framing them with fancy duct tape - I love the way it looks and that I still have the space in the rest of my room!)
Positive feedback and ratings are greatly appreciated!
Thanks for Looking!
