I created these 20th century cards to use in my own classroom. They are based on several textbooks along with the 5th grade Georgia Performance Standards for Social Studies. There are 33 vocabulary words and 4 key people that deal with industrialization, immigration, and invention. For all cards, there are pictures to go along with the words and definitions. These would be great for bulletin boards or word walls. They can be used to:
-Introduce new concepts
-Study for an assessment
-Assist ELL students with academic content language
-Review for state testing
You can print them as full sheets, 2 pages per sheet (landscape/vertical layout), or more to make them smaller. If you want them to be separated by a line, select the "Print Page Border" option.
SS5H3 The student will describe how life changed in America at the turn of the century.
