Pg. 6-8 Cause and Effect – copy pages A and B back to back, fold on the solid line, cut on the dotted lines – Look at the cause and flip it up to draw what the effect

Pg. 9-10 Color the Bees – color all the bees yellow that have a picture that starts with the /b/ sound
Pg. 11-17 Let’s Count Down! – practice writing your number words, number recognition, and counting backward – copy pages A and B together, C and D together, and E and F together – put together like a book and staple in the middle – illustrate to match the numbers
Pg. 18-24 Splash! If I was a turtle … - craft and writing activity – cop off the patterns onto appropriate colored paper- put together as scene in the image – write a little story
Pg. 25-29 B is for Bear! – make a bear out of the letter b – copy all patterns onto the appropriate colored construction paper and glue together as scene in the image example
Pg. 30-39 Turtle Splash! – put all the turtles and animal game cards facedown in the pond – every player gets a log game board – take turns choosing a turtle and reading the word on it – if you read it correctly, you can lounge it on your log – if you pick up an animal card, one of your turtles is going to get scared and splash back into the pond – whoever has the most turtles on their log at the end of the game – wins
