Decisions, decisions! How do computers make them? Kids learn why if statements are important in programming and how to program them. This is a continuation of two other packages: Turtle 6A Times Tables or Turtle 6B Exponents Resource Package. Everything is included: student handouts, PowerPoint lessons, answer keys, and assessments. Turtle Unit 8 Word Problems 2 is the next step in this series.

Concepts and skills have been broken down into short chunks. Students are given short code fragments to explore, followed by questions to consolidate their learning. They are also asked to reflect on their learning and provided terminology to begin/continue a programming dictionary. The unit bundle ends with a culminating activity followed by a test so students can demonstrate their mastery of the concepts and materials presented in this unit.

Materials have also been modified in English (UK) where necessary.

Duration: Ten 75 minute periods.

This unit bundle requires NO PREP! The student handouts will require photocopying but that is all!
