Product Description
This assignment is designed for students to learn how to begin analyzing language in William Shakespeare's play Twelfth Night. This is a digital Google Slides presentation that breaks down the process, one step at a time, and even provides examples for the students to work off of.

The first portion of the assignment asks students to look at the dictionary definition and find examples online of their assigned rhetorical device (or piece of figurative language).

From there, it asks the students to identify examples of those same devices in the text Twelfth Night. There are guided questions posted on the Google Slides presentation that help the students figure out why the quote was used in the text, or how it was used in the text (type of language, humorous or not, etc.).

The goal of the assignment is to walk students through the analysis process and help them create their own individual paragraph at the end.
