This is a fun recording I made from my phone playing the piano. My kids love it, so I thought yours might, too! Use this recording to introduce "minor" any time!
How to use:
Play this for them and ask what they notice. They will recognize it as "Twinkle Twinkle" except scarier. You can use this to make a compare/contrast diagram or to lead a discussion in the difference between major and minor. This is a great intro to the 1/2 step and whole step differences between a major and minor scale. You may also want to use this to introduce "rubato" versus "steady beat."
I use it at Halloween, too, just to get them in the mood!
Thanks for downloading! I hope you enjoy!
