TWIST UP your creative writing with this easy, step-by-step guide to better writing.
This creative writing unit will give your children plenty to get to grips with. Start by reading them the original (my version) story of the Three Little Pigs. Talk about the characters, their personality traits, behaviours etc and then move onto the worksheet where they will come up with antonyms to describe alternative characters.
What if the wolf is innocent? What if the pigs were mean and told tales?
They can use the storyboard to draw up their ideas and write as little or as much as they can underneath. This will inform their writing as the judge, who will decide if the pigs are innocent or not. Hand out the verdict!
Loads of fun and we all know that means better learning.
