PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This assignment includes two pages. The first page includes directions on creating a fake Twitter page for a historical figure that you have been learning about. Students will create a Twitter feed based on real events that they have been studying. For example, what would Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks have been tweeting about during the Montgomery Bus Boycott? It gets students thinking about history and applying it in a very familiar way to them. I have used this with a variety of historical eras and people and it has worked out nicely. I have even used pages they have created and made large bulletin boards out of them. The second page include the actual fake Twitter page they can use to fill out.
