Use students' love of tweeting to invoke analysis on this easy formative assessment! I use this for a ticket out of the door. By asking students to come up with a relevant hashtag and username to whatever prompt you assign, you are asking them to dig deep and analyze the prompt as well as triggering the idea that hashtags and usernames are indicative of beliefs and values just as much as the tweet content itself. Print, cut, and use!
