It can be difficult finding engaging, critical thinking activities to use with middle and high school students. One thing is for sure however, these students are familiar with social media. Using social media in the classroom is a great way to interest and engage all learners and meet them at their level in terms of differentiation.
There are a number of ways to use this template including in English Language Arts for a character study, in social studies to focus on a historical person, and more!
If you are are Google Apps school this resource is right up your alley! Simply click the link in the download and it will automatically make a copy for you right in your drive. From there you can share it with your students on classroom or e-mail it for them to use in class.
To help your students plan, a paper copy is also included. This can also be used for students without internet access if this is assigned as homework.
What's nice about the digital template is that it can be modified to include more or less content depending on the student.
Note: I save my students' finished work as a JPEG (one of the saving choices in PowerPoint) so that is a picture when finished and doesn't require opening PowerPoint when students are viewing their project.
