This project is a wonderful alternative to the traditional book report form with low level comprehension questions/requirements.
This product contains two different book report projects, both still biography jars: one is for famous Americans, one for famous African-Americans (I use this one during Black History Month--it's awesome!). I put both items so the teacher can choose which project to assign.
The information boxes that the students must fill out require a deeper understanding of the biography they read. They must take the information and put to work all of the Common Core Skills for Language Arts. If you're looking for a challenge, this is it.
