Two Central Ideas in a Nonfiction Text for Students with Significant Disabilitie

Two Central Ideas in a Nonfiction Text for Students with Significant Disabilitie
Product Description
These assessments are designed to meet the Virginia Alternative Assessment Standard for 7th graders.

These assessments are written for students with moderate to severe disabilities. My students are all on different levels, so each of these assessments are on a different level for Reading A-Z. Levels A, C, G, and H because those levels were needed in my class.

Many of my students were nonverbal and unable to write but were still required to show mastery of reading skills.

The assessments all have extra choices to offer a chance of incorrect answers. We taught our students to glue the extra choices on to the back of the assessment. This showed that the student differentiated from incorrect choices and arranged correct choices into the two central ideas and details map.

These assessments are made to go along with books from the Reading A-Z, Raz-Kids website that does require a separate subscription.
