This set includes a variety of resources to help students learning or struggling with two-digit addition to get off the ground! This toolkit introduces students to solving two digit addition problems without regrouping and three different methods for solving two digit addition problems with regrouping: the show all totals method, the new groups above method, and the draw it out method (using place value drawings).
- Two digit addition without regrouping mini anchor chart, reusable work mat
- Show all totals mini anchor chart, reusable work mat, reusable practice page
- New groups above mini anchor chart, reusable work mat, reusable practice page
- Draw it out mini anchor chart, reusable work mat
The reusable work mats and practice pages can be printed onto card stock and laminated or put in a page protector for use with a dry erase marker OR printed onto paper for one-time use. The practice pages work well for students who struggle to copy problems from a textbook or line digits up correctly when writing a problem. The mini anchor charts are perfect for use in lessons, in math notebooks, reference folders, or can be shrunk down for desk helpers. These resources have made a world of difference for my students, and I hope that you will find them useful as well!
