Students can use these task cards to practice their addition of two and three addition facts. Task cards can be used in several different ways.
1. Around the Room: Students go hunt around
the room for the cards that are placed
around the room.
2. Math Center: Place the cards in a basket and
students can grab and answer them at random!
3. Scoot: Scoot activities are a fun engaging way to get your students up and moving. Cut apart each card and place around the room. The students are given a certain amount of time to answer the card they are at. The teacher then tells the class to scoot, the students switch to the next card or area and answer the card. This continues until all students have answers for all cards.
This scoot activity incorporates two different sets of math problems. The first set has twenty-six cards that each contain a two digit addition problem. There is a second set of twenty-six cards that each contain a two digit subtraction problem.
I have also included a full set of black and white scoot cards that are printer friendly!
