Task cards are perfect for reinforcing skills, giving students a little extra practice on a skill they are having difficulty with, or providing enrichment for those who need a challenge. The beauty of task cards is that they provide that extra practice without feeling like a worksheet.
I love to use the cards as a “scoot”. I get my students up and moving around while solving problems. Just place the cards in order on desks around the room and have students “scoot” from one to the next solving the problems on each card.
To Get Started:
Print the cards on card stock
Laminate for durability
Store in a plastic bag or on a ring after punching a hole in the corner
I have included a recording sheet and a black and white version that can be printed on colored paper to save ink!
