This two-sided assessment (that can also be used for extra practice) includes 12 problems (+ two challenge problems) covering two-step equations.
Questions 1 - 9 have students using inverse operations to solve two-step equations. NOTE: Two of the problems involve multi-steps in which students have to use the distributive property first.
Questions 10 - 11 are word problems. Students write an equation, solve it, then answer the question in a complete sentence.
Question #12 gives an equation involving the distributive property and incorrect work and solution. Students have to identify three errors made and then solve the problem to find the correct solution.
Two challenge problems are also included.
The heading simply states "Two Step and Multi-Step Equations", so it would be perfect for an assessment, a study guide, review, or extra practice!
