Here I have a short lesson on two-way tables. I introduced the students to two-way tables by giving them a completed table that we completed together. Next, I have two empty tables for the students to complete. The first empty one, I complete with the students after I gathered the data. The last one, after gathering the data, I have the students complete with a partner or individually.
This is nice because the students can relate to the table personally since the topics are relevant and the data is coming straight from them. It is a win-win.
NOTE* There is no answer key available because everyone's survey will differ. The information varies depending upon the number of students you have that day and which students choose which of the options.
