This is a set of practice worksheets and quizzes for solving two-step equations, all with integer solutions. There are three versions of each resource. The first contains 55 practice equations in worksheet form, with an answer key. It is organized in three sections, two pages for each. Each section has equations in a different structure (constant on the left, constant on the right, linear and constant terms flipped). The second is all of the equations scrambled (differently for each version). Then, there are two "leveled" practices with four pages of equations.
There are three quizzes, three versions of each. They are progressively more challenging. There are eight questions on each one, four to a page, so you can do a single side if you need a short, quick quiz.
Here is why I made these.
You can be assured that if one version has 2x - 3 = 11 a second verson won't have 2x + 3 = -13 (It might be something like 3x - 6 = 9 instead). All structure and negative/positive values are kept consistent with changes only in the numbers. ), a quest to write a series of question banks that avoid the ridiculous questions that textbook question banks generate where different versions have wildly different structure.
