Sort Activity - High School Chemistry
- Students can work in groups to sort the cards into groups that correspond to the 5 basic types of chemical reactions: synthesis, decomposition, combustion, single replacement, and double replacement. This also includes cards with particulate representations of reactions.
Print out a copy for each group of students. Cut out the pieces so that students can classify them from a mixed set.
The page you will print out contains the cards in the corresponding columns. An extra can be printed for an answer key.
