Types of Conflict PP
Lesson Structuring and Pacing:
Starter (8-10 minutes) – Have students think of a time that they have been upset with each other. Tell them to write down three words to describe how they felt. Then tell them that today we will learn about different types of conflict.
Activity: Use the, “Types of Conflict” PowerPoint and follow the instructions. I always have my students answer the Let’s Practice part of whiteboards and hold up the answers. I also really challenge my students to create a unique graphic organizer and list as many examples as they can when they are doing the group work at the end.
Exit Slip (5 minutes) – Students what describe their favorite example of conflict from a movie and tell what type of conflict it is.
I hope your students enjoy this lesson as much as mine do!!!
