Product Description
This powerpoint presentation, created by Jacqueline Miller, utilizes technology to help students learn about types of conflict, an important part of the plot. The presentation can be used as a minilesson for whole-class instruction and/or individually at student computer workstations. The presentation uses concept maps and graphics to introduce the four types of conflicts in literature (character vs. character, character vs. self, character vs. nature, and character vs. society), and provides practice in which the students read short passages and identify the type of conflict involved. This powerpoint presentation is a great tool to use in learning centers, as students can independently view the presentation and learn about conflict as the teacher works with another group of students.
