Irony is something many adults and definitely students tend to struggle with every year! In this product, you’ll a PowerPoint with videos (not created by me), an accompanying notes sheet, and some short clips from text with answers to print on the back of the graphic organizer!
- PowerPoint lesson with explanations of irony, and the three different types (situational, verbal, dramatic)
- Handout with notes that go along with the PowerPoint. Students fill in notes, but also are asked to generate examples with their group/solo and provide visual examples of each type
- Back of handout has students analyze 3 short pieces of text and identifying each type of irony
