This product includes a worksheet that students complete to better understand types of landforms. For each landform, students must write the definition, give an example of it somewhere around the world, and draw a picture of it.
This lesson can be modified in a number of ways: to get students out of their seats, consider putting the landform definitions around the room for students to find. If students need more scaffolding, consider providing the definitions and/or examples. If you're doing this activity during a specific unit, have the examples be from whatever region of the world you're studying. Also, landforms can be added/deleted to be better tailored to your content! This activity can be done in 50 minutes (if definitions are provided) or be up to 90 minutes (if students have to find definitions for themselves).
Included with the worksheet is an answer key with the definitions and examples already filled in.
