These 2 sorts are perfect for use in your fourth grade classroom!
The first sort asks students to sort 12 examples of lines, line segments, and rays into parallel and perpendicular categories. The second sort has students sort 12 examples of angles into acute, right, and obtuse categories.
Included in this package are
- 24 cards for sorting
- 2 types of title cards (those with definitions of the mathematical terms and those without)
- Recording sheets for student work to ensure accountability/assist with assessment; these are half sheets to help save paper
- Answer keys so students can check their work if desired
My students have enjoyed using these sorts in centers. They are also great for small group instruction and RtI. They print beautifully!
