Engage your students in actively understanding the difference among mores, folkways, laws, and taboos with this note sheet and card sort.
Assign students the note sheet, and either watch the short film as a class, or have them complete it individually or in pairs. Then assign the card sort so that they can classify definitions and examples as either mores, folkways, laws, or taboos.
