This engaging foldable is great for grades 3-5 to take notes in about the types of quadrilaterals. There are fun nicknames on the front for students to remember and inside there is a place for them to draw the shape (they can trace around power polygons if your classroom has a set for students to use).
There is scribbling on the foldable which is where students cut so it looks like the quadrilateral and black lines where students cut so it makes 6 sections (see video)
This file has 3 copies - all copies have the quadrilateral names already written on the front but inside has 3 types:
1. one completely blank in the inside
2. one with the shapes drawn already and your students just have to copy the notes
3. one that is a teacher master copy.
This foldable is on 11x17 paper to accommodate all learners. I make copies of my teacher master copy for students that have accommodations in their file. Students that may have fine motor skill struggles with tracing can use the copy with the shapes drawn.
