60 Types of Sentences Task ards provide practice for simple, compound, and complex sentences.
, an answer sheet for students to record their answers along with an answer key for self-checking.
On each card is a sentence and three answer choices. Learners decide what type of sentence it is and clip a clothespin to the correct corresponding answer choice.
The compound sentences all use coordinating conjunctions (FANBOYS).
The complex sentences have their dependent clause at the beginning, separated by a comma.
Types of Sentences Clip Cards are perfect for test prep and work well at literacy centers, stations, even as exit tickets.
★Print, laminate, and cut out the clothespin clip cards.
I like to make these cards self-checking by writing the answer or placing a sticker on the back of the card in the area of the correct answer, where the clothespin will be clipped.
Types of Sentences Clip Cards are terrific – A Hands-On Activity your kiddos will love!
