PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This Power Point lesson introduces students to the four types of sentences. It is designed to be highly interactive, using active student engagement strategies throughout, and finishes with a creative writing assignment that may be used as either classwork or as homework. If the assignment is done in class, this will take the better part of a class period; if not, plan on about 30 minutes. I made this to use with my 7th and 8th grade students, but it is quite suitable for 6th graders as well, and has a tiny touch of that middle school goofiness we all know and love. - Rae Galeazzi
