This PowerPoint presentation gives directions and sentences for a class to easily play "Four Corners" to practice the four types of sentences. Simply label the corners of your room with a different type of sentence: simple, compound, complex, and compound-complex. Then play the PowerPoint and have students move to the corner that represents the type of sentence they believe the sentence on the board. This fun and engaging activity gets students up and moving, while helping them practice the types of sentences! It includes the answers to each sentence, so you can review right away with the students. It was originally created for and used in a middle grades language arts class. It is a PowerPoint presentation, so feel free to edit!
