Product Description
In this download, students can work with statements, questions, commands, and exclamatory sentences OR imperative, declarative, interrogative, and exclamatory sentences.

This "Types of Sentences" center focuses on Statements, Commands, Questions, and Exclamatory sentences. Included in this packet are 5 different "sentence sorts" ranging from basic ( touching on two types of sentences at once) to intermediate ( looking at all 4 types of sentences) and advanced ( adding punctuation to the sentences and then sorting them into the correct category).

It also focuses on Declarative, Imperative, Interrogative, and Exclamatory sentences. Included in this packet are 5 different "sentence sorts" ranging from basic ( touching on two types of sentences at once) to intermediate ( looking at all 4 types of sentences) and advanced ( adding punctuation to the sentences and then sorting them into the correct category).

With this differentiated learning center, you can have some students focusing on just Statements and Questions while your more advanced students are sorting sentences into four categories at once or adding punctuation and then sorting.

I recommend printing the sentences on colored paper so that students can glue them on white paper. Makes a fun and colorful display in the hallway while showing off the student's work!
