This Google Slides activity is designed to allow students to practice classifying sentences in a fun way. This is an engaging activity where students must read the message on twenty T-shirts and identify whether each sentence is declarative, imperative, interrogative, or exclamatory.
The activity begins with two student-friendly directions slides that include pictures. After reading the directions, students advance to Slide 3 where they select a T-shirt, read the message, and determine whether it is declarative, imperative, interrogative, or exclamatory. They move the T-shirt to the appropriate clothesline. (Students will be using the cut and paste functions on their keyboard, so it is helpful if students already have a basic understanding of how these functions work.)
An answer key is provided. Check out the PREVIEW!
