This types of sentences activity packet is structured so that your students interact with declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory sentences in multiple ways. Also, you get to choose whether to use the printable worksheet format or the paperless Google Slides format.

  • ACTIVITY #1- Students read short conversations and label each sentence within the conversation as declarative, interrogative, exclamatory, or imperative. Punctuation is included for the first three conversations, but the students have to add the punctuation on the final four conversations. The printable format contains three worksheets. The Google Slides format contains seven slides.

  • ACTIVITY #2 (Writing Sentences)- Students are given a topic, and they must write a declarative, interrogative, exclamatory, and imperative sentence related to the given topic. The printable format contains two worksheets. The Google Slides format contains six slides.
