Are your students learning how to solve equations and identify special solution types? This card sort activity helps them practice identifying equations that have one
solution, or infinite
Two different sizes for this activity are included!
*A full-sheet sized
version is included to use as a standalone activity.
*A interactive notebook sized
version is included that can be glued into an interactive notebook (this is my personal favorite option!).
Each of the six equations have been specifically chosen to address common misconceptions that students run into to maximize the effect this sorting activity has.
To introduce this topic, I always use my Special Case Solutions Foldable
for notes, and then I use this card sort as a follow-up activity or even as a homework assignment!
