This is a Word document. The answer KEY is included. Hyper, hypo and isotonic solutions are discussed in grid-style notes for the students to complete using a projector. I give each student a copy of the grid, then project the grid onto my Promethean board or a whiteboard. I use the included answer KEY to fill-in-the-blanks in the grid with the students. What happens to the cell? What is the solute concentration? Water concentration? These notes leave lots of room for discussion while note-taking, especially in the 'examples' section.
