These are the I CANs dealing with the different ways you can teach your students to multiply large numbers. According to the CCSS, students really only need to know how to multiply 2 digits by 2 digits, but I always show them 2 by 3 digits also. These I CANs cover lattice, wrestling, partial-products (which is a short cut for wrestling), and traditional. The vocab for this unit is basically the same as unit 3 so I did not include that. This unit focuses largely on strategies, not vocab. So instead of vocab, I've included a SELF-ASSESSMENT check sheet for students to use while you teach the different strategies. Hope you enjoy it!
