UNIT SIX - ENERGY AND LIVING ORGANISMS (PART A) includes the first six lessons of a ten lesson unit. The last four lessons can be found ENERGY AND LIVING ORGANISMS (PART B). In the first six lessons students will identify the nutrients plants need to produce chemical energy by photosynthesis. They will show how living things are classified as producers, consumers, and decomposers and how these organisms share a common food web. They will examine how the basic elements needed for life are recycled. They will also identify the major biomes inhabited by living things. STUDENT WORKSHEETS and an EDUCATOR GUIDE are included in this download. The UNIT TEST for assessing student performance after completing this unit are included in ENERGY AND LIVING ORGANISMS (PART B).
