Great Resource for Teaching the Amendment Process
Rated 5 out of 5
January 4, 2026
I used this with my 8th grade U.S. History class and it was excellent. The presentation made the amendment process clear and easy to understand. My students grasped formal versus informal amendments quickly. The create your own amendment activity sparked great debate. Students defended their proposals with solid reasoning and took the voting seriously. The fill-in-the-blank notes kept everyone focused without too much writing. Setup took under five minutes and fit perfectly into one 50-minute period. Both the editable and PDF versions let me customize for different learners. This saved me prep time and worked better than my old lesson. Highly recommend for middle school.
