This fun U.S. geography game is perfect to use at the beginning of the year. Classmates will learn more about each other as they practice their U.S. map skills!
In this geography speed game, students will have 5 minutes to ask different members of your class what states they have either lived in or visited. Write their name down and color the state red if they have visited that state or blue if they lived there. You can only put two states per classmate. The state where you live does not count! After time is up, you will add one point for every state colored red and two points for every state colored blue. Bonus: Add one point for every region there is at least one state colored in! The student with the most points wins!
Included are two maps, one with states names, and one without! Good Luck!
